Nasmeera Firdous here!! (Although I prefer it to be spelled as Nasmira). A proud hijabi, a passionate writer, artist and a nutritionist, I tend to write about anything and everything under the sun, ranging from Nutrition to Islam, fiction to real life events. Writing gives me a one way ticket into my fictional world, helping me escape from realities.
Currently pursuing Bachelors of Arts in Islamic Studies from Islamic Online University (an amazing initiative, for which I pray Allah (swt) showers His blessings upon each and every SINGLE member behind this university).

Salam wrwb, just dropped by to tell you that, [and this is really random so just bare with me!] I knew drawing faces is an issue, still I casually allowed myself the display of emoticons [on my blog] as I was not sure whether or not the similar would apply to smilies as well. I felt uncomfortable inside even as I did so but nonetheless went ahead with it. Alhamdulillah, though, after seeing your blog and seeing this habit in PRACTICE [since you have opted out the option of displaying emoticons here] I was motivated to do so as well. Oh! then do not look beyond Charminar…you have a gazillion shops which sell all kinds of hijabs for all types of rates..besides you get hijabs just about anywhere..malls, small shops, big shops,,you name it, you get it,,,just about ANYWHERE coz 40% of Hyderabad’s population are Muslims! :)
I don’t have a problem in finding hijabs, Alhamdulilah, it easy to get them here. But I NEED sleeve extensions and those neck covering thingys. :$
Oh those!!! I haven’t found those shops yet !! Even I’m hunting for them..especially the sleeve extension ones..I even go around showing the sleeve extensions in shops here..but they don’t have them..I doubt if they have the neck extension ones too..I’m on a lookout almost every time I go for shopping but haven’t found any yet..will surely mail you if I get hold of any shops here..surely, inshaAllah :)

Asalaamu Alaykum – Thanks to your awesome “Khushoo in Salaah” i discovered you :-) Realled elevated my views on certain things. jazakallah :-) I read that you’re also a practising nutritionist!
